Hi everyone:

I was helping my husband online to fill out his forms, so I sent them to him and he printed them and signed them. Now I just realize in form IMM5540 question #14, I made an excel additional page to name his friends and relatives and when I met them, but I totally forget to sent that to him.

In the form I just wrote see the answer in attached page :o. We sent the package today, any suggestions of what I can do to sent it to them or we have to wait till they ask us to submit it. They would send our application back? this will delay our application long?

I can belive I forot that, it's just I'm not feeling so good til saturday and that distracted me.

Thanks for your repplies ???

You will have to wait until either they request it, or they give you your UCI. I had a form that I TOTALLY forgot to do (didn't think we had to, found out within 4 months ish) and when I got my UCI, I emailed my VO, with the information about myself and my husband and the UCI and the form and it went well. (Sorry for all the "and"s haha)

Thank you for your answer, I'll wait till I got UCI and make hubby mail it to them immediately, so we don't have too much delay in the process :(

I would not wait. I would send the document now, giving as much information with it as you can (names, addresses, dates of birth) to enable them to join the missing document up with the rest of the papers. That can do no harm. Only one of two things can happen: either they join it up with the rest of the application, in which case the problem is resolved, or they do not join it up, in which case if they ask for it later you can send a duplicate. Not sending it at all at this stage risks either a return of all your application, in which case you have to start again, or alternatively a request for the missing document in which case once you send it the whole application will go to the bottom of the queue and time will in effect start again. That happened to me. I accept that a miracle might happen and you might get an UCI without sending the missing paper, but that did not happen to me: I was sent an email asking for the missing information, and they did not at that stage supply an UCI. My sponsor's application (and the UCI) consequently took 2 months to come through instead of the more usual one month, with the result that the whole process has been set back a month.

They will just toss it or send it back as it NEEDS the UCI.

The paper that you are missing is part of the sponsored person package. It's not a form, it's an attached document - so I don't believe that the package will be returned just because of that. At stage 1, they will go through quickly your application to see if all the forms are there. In your case - they are. So they will proceed with the sponsorship approval. Once you have the sponsorship approval you will have the UCI and your file will be sent to the VO - then you can send them the additional sheet, with the UCI for the sponsor - if you send it before they probably won't be able to match it, so it won't really make a difference.

Not true at all. I sent in a missing document before sponsor approval with no UCI or file number, just our names and birth dates. They received it and matched it with our file perfectly fine.

Thank you all again for your replies :D.

I think i'll give it a try and send it, if they return it at least I tried, if everything goes fine and they can match it somehow, well it's the end of the problem ???

My package should arrive today at the CPC-M, I wanted to try to send the missing page today but hubby is pretty busy at work :-X. So lets see tomorrow, I already has decided to wait for the UCI, but apparently people has had the same problem and sent the missing information.

Anyway I let you know what happened. :)

I find it so silly how they do things sometimes. Even though I had my complete application sent back to me, I have a UCI.
