I am the sponsor. Do I put my children down on this form? Or none because he has no kids but I do.

By what the guide says, it seems he would include my children because he is their step father when we are married?

Yes, any step children should be included in this form. PA should list sponsor’s children as his/her stepchildren.

Yes.......you need to fill Principal Applicant's dependants if any......and the children of the sponsor (i.e, PA step-children from marriage).

SECTION B
Write the personal details for your children. It is very important that you list all of your children (even if they are already permanent residents or citizens of Canada). This includes:
  • married children,
  • adopted children,
  • children of your spouse(step-children) or common-law partner,
  • any of your children who have been adopted by others,
  • any of your children who are in the custody of an ex-spouse, former common-law partner or other guardian.
Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

Thank you this is what I thought

What about my child that was adopted, and the child that lives with her father and will never live with us?

The Sponsor's child that lives with her father......i think the child is still the Sponsor's child and the PA step-child......

You are required to include the PA step-children and any of children who are in the custody of an ex-spouse, which includes the Sponsor's child that lives with her father.

Refer.....checklist......Note

For Adopted Child(ren): If your child(ren) is/are adopted, you must include adoption papers and, if the adoption was done according to customary law and not through the courts, you must provide evidence of the adoption ceremony
