Hi Everyone.

I am a BC PNP nomination holder and I am currently preparing my PR application to send to the CIC.

For the photocopy of the IMM5406 form that I sent to the pnp I typed my mothers name as it appeared on her birth cert, let's call her "Mary Jane Surname". However I noticed that it is "Jane Mary Surname" on her passport and "Jane Mary Surname" on my birth cert and I have to submit my birth cert to the cic that displays her name as "Jane Mary Surname".

Can anyone shed some light on this and if it will cause any problems as I typed it as "Mary Jane Surname" for the pnp application and I will be submitting it as "Jane Mary Surname" for the cic application as this is how it is stated on her passport and my birthcert?

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

All the best.

There are two ways to show a person's name in Canada: Last name, first name or first name last name

as long as you make it clear that which one is last name and first name it will be fine.
