I am having a mental block while filling out the Additional Family Information form as I apply form PR in Canada.

Do I fill in my mother and father information if even if they AREN'T MOVING TO CANADA WITH ME???

Also, do I fill in the spouse line since my spouse is already a Canadian citizen/ resident and she is sponsoring me...

Sorry for the silly questions but my mind is playing tricks on me....can anyone help???

Is your wife sponsoring you? If she is there is no need to put her and as for your parents yes you do, same goes if you have any siblings and children.

Not quite right - you do include your spouse/sponsor on the Additional Family Info form - otherwise you're asked to sign and attest to the fact that you're not married or in a common-law relationship!

You also include your parents and all siblings, even though they are not being considered for immigration, and your children and step-children, if applicable.

Thanks again RobsLuv,

I thought your answer was the right one. I am also assuming that even though my only brother isin't coming with me I should still fill in his info in the final section of that form!

Hopefully I am done asking you questions...at least for now!!!!

Yes, you fill in all the information requested - spouse, mother, father, siblings and children - whether or not they are immigrating to (or already citizens of) Canada. For example, my step-children are citizens of Canada, but they were required to be included on this form, along with my own (US citizen) children - and my (US citizens) brother and sister, mom and dad; plus my Canadian citizen sponsor/spouse.

Hi All,

I was also confused about this question so thanks for clarifying RobsLuv.

Sorry to say, but I am also confused about the very first box, where it asked for the name, Relationship = Applicant.

I am the applicant, so when I fill in this form, I believe I put down "Not Applicable" for this?

Many thanks
