Hi My common - law partner received a request from the Romania office requesting addition documents.
They requested for my partner to provide a redone schedule A/Background declaration which we had originally included with many supporting documents like leases and education diplomas. My question is when we fill out the new Background Declaration should we include all our notarized supporting documents again or can we just say we provided those originally.
In addition and perhaps most troublesome is the fact that they are also requesting marriage and divorce certificates my partner has never been married or divorced this does;t even apply to him I do not understand why they are asking.
Can we respond to the email and ask for clarification does anyone know if they will get back to us?????
Finally they are requesting police certificates for a country where my partner was a visitor and never had any resident status - he was on a visitor status in and out of the country for over 3 years but was not required to declare residency and never did. We explained this in the original application but I guess they never read it. The country will not issue a police certificate for someone who was not a citizen or resident of the country. Does anyone have any advice.
Thanks to all who respond in advance.
