I have sent the application to CIO as single applicant with single fee due to lack of proof of funds for whole family. I had declared all my family as non accompanying.

Now enough funds for family have been arranged. Will I be able to pay my spouse and family fees after getting initial response from CIO. If yes then how family fees be paid and to whom payment form will be sent. Will some explanation be required?

Pls advise as I also wish to accompany my family with me.

hi rizwan72

I am not sure how to go about doing this especially if you already have submitted and received an AOR from the CIO.

If you have received your AOR, maybe you can write a letter explaining the situation and attaching the rest of the payment for your accompanying family members when you submit your complete application. Again, I'm not sure about this. You just might have to wait for an advice from other members who had experienced the same problem.

Hello Rizwan

Pretty simple solution:

1. Update all the application forms (to reflect your non-accompanying family member to accompanying)
2. Attach appropriate fee payment
AND 3. write a cover letter explaining what you are doing

Mail this to your visa office (NOT to CIO).

N.B: You can actually add your family members at any time, until the date you actually LAND in Canada.

You can actually confirm this by writing to your Visa office enquiry e-mail, in case you wanted to.
