Adding spouse and child to my PR

I want to add my wife and my daughter to my PR. Can anyone share the document checklist to add spouse and child?

I am currently in India and plan to travel to Canada in the month of September. Is it advisable to apply from India or from Canada?

To clarify You are doing your PR landing for first time in September and your spouse and child were non accompanying on your original PR application ?

Yes, you should give us more details. Do not land in Canada if your wife and child have not already had their medical exams. If they were not mentioned on your application, add them before you land.
