I’m applying for PR under Canadian Experience Class, I just completed 1 year of work experience on PGWP. Will adding my Spouse who is a Refugee Claimant affect my PR Application?? Can my PR be rejected or at risk if I add my spouse? His refugee case is still on-going

You may want to speak with a lawyer.

You have no choice but to include your spouse in your application. However since your sposue is classified as out of status in Canada, that could cause issues with your application.

There was a thread on this topic a few weeks ago in the Refugee / Asylum section of the forum. Someone applied for PR through an economic immigration stream but was refused due to their spouse being a refugee claimant. Unfortunately I can't find that thread right now.

Anyway - I would speak with an immigration lawyer.

For people who are already PR, if their spouse is still a refugee claimant or refused during the PR files for citizenship, will it affect their citizenship application too if they name their Spouse?
