Adding New bornbaby

Dear friends,

Need your advice on this matter,My spouse's expected due date-December 15th,But some medical emergency she delivered on 29th of September 2012. We finished our medicals on Previous month. She Didn't finished her X-ray because she was pregnant on that time. Now CIC asking additional medical requirements for my spouse.( X-ray )
Baby is in Intensive Care Unit now, at least 1-2 month he will be there.So I am trying to get birth certificate and passport for the baby.
I am little confused and worried that if i am doing spouses additional medicals there is any issue for adding baby to our application.
In this situation which is the right step i have to do for adding baby.

Get your baby's birth certificate, passport pics (6), fill the forms required, pay 150 $ child fee, get an updated POF (unless asked for it), and send them back to your VO, depending on your VO (usually it take 30 days, previous exp with LVO) they will send you back MR forms for your baby.

Your wife should go ahead with d x_ray.but meanwhile,read through this link on what is required to add ur new born.

we thank God for the successful delivery of the baby.i was in same situation but everything is alright now.
firstly,let your wife go for her x-ray and make effort to get baby birth certificate,international passport,4passport photograph
as per vo specification,$150canadian dollar payable""RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA".

secondly,fill form imm0008,and additional family information form with accompany letter to visa office telling them about family addition.
if you can do all these and send to visa office with in 10day of supplying the above.they will send your baby medical ....GOODLUCK
 
hi...first of all congrats for new born baby....we had similar ituation in june 2012...we sent the forms, updated POF, PP copies, baby pics on 4th of june 2012.....in our case it was slow as snail and we received medicals on 20th sept 2012.....still waiting for passports with visa........i wish this happens quickly in your case.....all the best........

Congratulations a lot on your new born. I'm sure the new born will bring more of good luck to you and your family.
Our case was exactly the same.
First medical recieved in 2nd week of June 2012
First medical was done on 17 June 2012 (without my wife's x-ray)
My wife delievered on 25 June 2012
Additional medical for my wife's x-ray received in 2 week of July 2012
x-ray was done on 29 July 2012
Got the passport, birth certifcate, pics and $150 & sent to LVO in first week of Aug 2012 (many others mentioned to send updated POF. I dont think so)
Medical for new born received in 2 week of Sep 2012
Medical for new born was done in 3 week of Sep 2012
Got PPR on 12 Oct 2012
