Hello, I received my PPR while my wife was pregnant in her third trimester, and requested an extension in order to add my child as a dependent after birth which I was granted up to 12th August.
After we were blessed with a baby boy, I completed all the necessary forms and papers in line with the letter (birth certificate, forms IMM 0008, IMM 5406, etc.) and am ready to upload the documents for adding him as a dependent.
On the other hand, my passport expires in less than 6 months so I had it renewed and received the new passport yesterday. I have done my re-medical with the new passport (since earlier medicals expired) and mentioned the new passport number under form IMM 0008. I sent an email to CIC to inform them that I renewed my passport and haven't received a reply yet.
I'm not sure how to proceed further, should I attach my new passport to the dependent adding documents while uploading or refrain from doing so?
