hi

My complete application form was received by consulate in Buffalo on July 2 and they have asked me for document for legal entry In US (In my case it is I-20) and has given me two months time to send this document and I am wondering to know whether will they ask me again for some other document after some time. If anyone has experience in this aspect kindly guide me.

vijay_sam,

firstly, i must congratulate you for getting a response in 8 days flat from Buffalo...

to answer your question: difficult to say for anyone. If you have been watching this forum, you'd have realised that CHCs responses are sporadic and not much trend can be derived from them.

Such requests are generally case to case driven and while revaluating your file if they find something missing again, they'll ask for it...

Unlikely that they will ask for additional documents, you either sent enough to prove that you qualify or you didn't CHC is no longer going to chase up applicants. They want the I-20 to prove that you were admitted to the US for at least one year, to determine if you are eligible to apply to Buffalo.
