Add spouse while application in process

I notified CIC about my change in marital status. I also informed them, that I want to add my wife in application.
I received an e-mail after two months requesting documents.

My question: In email they mentioned that ,documents can be sent as scanned attachment as below.Though its clearly mentioned, I would like to take an opinion from this forum.
Can anyone guide me if I should send the documents as scanned attachments or hard copies ? Thank you in advance.

Do as mentioned by CIC. Send soft copy of all the docs except Police Clearance Certificate.

Hi,

I have sent 4 hard copies of my spouse to CIC. Some have sent scanned copy and it has worked for them. However, I didnt wanna risk it, since they have mentioned "4".

hello i m new in this forum nd my ques is
we got married on feb2014 nd after two months i got my pr but i had to update my status of marriage so dey put my pr on hold nd added my wife in to my file ... now everthing is done,all documents are given ,medical of my wife was done on 30 june 2014 so now i m just waiting for our pr together.
please give me an idea how much more time it will take for our pr becoz its been 11 months since i applied for my wifes pr.
please help!!!!
