It has been 8-months now and there is no update. I analyzed my GCMS notes and see review required on Activity type: 11.2 - EE MI. I am not sure if this is something I need to be worried about. I checked the notes section of GCMS and do not see anything alarming. Can someone please assist on what my options are to expedited the processing of my application. It has been 8 months already and I see that there is not update on the notes since January 8th, 2019
I also see Review Required under name in the 3rd page of the GCMS notes. Possibly because I have entered my Given name(from the passport) in the Last Name field. My passport does not have a Surname/Last Name and the CIC Agent asked me to do it this was and leave the first name field blank(since it was not a mandatory field) while filing up the application.
