I applied for my husband to come to Canada from Jamaica , cic received the application on July 30, 2018 but I am yet to hear anything back from them.. that's over 9 weeks ago. Whats the longest time it can take to hear from Cic??

Sometimes, provided that the application is considered complete, people are able to see updates here before they actually get any email from CIC. Follow the monthly thread that you submitted your app. in. That will give you an idea of how long it's taking them to hear back from CIC. Good luck.

Its taking about 12 weeks or more. Look up the july thread for more details about apps sent around thr same time
