We got our PR card on July 2010 and we are planning to move to Canada in the month of Feb 2013, can anyone help me with the below doubts

a) when are we supposed to be there to make the 750 days with a buffer of 2 months in hand ? the exact date please . our PR expires on 31st july 2015. considering the leap year and number of days in that year, Please help with accurate days

b) Do we need a special visa for the us citizen (2.5 years old) entering with her PR parents ?

c) which one will be good to do ? sponsoring our daughter while she is inside the country or sponsoring her while she is outside the country ? which one will be quick ? what if she enters the country while the application is in processing under the outside the country sponsorship ?

Please help
thanks

1. Before proceeding with a response I'm doing the math and trying to figure if your daughter was born (month/year) before you were granted PR status or after PR visas were issued?

2. To clarify have you already landed in Canada and when was this (month/year) and are now returning back or is this a first time entry?

The clock started ticking as soon as you landed as a PR. You are not allowed to be outside Canada for more than 1094 days in any rolling 5 year period. If you look at the PR card renewal application, you will see that this is what they ask for, that is have you been outside Canada for 1095 days or more since you landed as a PR or in your first 5 years as a PR. When you arrive in Canada, immigration may tell you that you are close to not meeting the requirements and should stay in Canada without leaving for 2 years now. Make sure you keep proof of your arrival and days in Canada for when you apply to renew your PR card. Do not apply to renew your PR card until you have more than 730 days in Canada that you can prove. Even if you have to let it expire.

No but you must apply to sponsor her as soon as you arrive and she may not qualify for health care until she has her PR + 3 months depending on the province.

As a PR, you can not sponsor a child from outside Canada. You must be a citizen in order to do that. Therefore, you must apply after you have arrived.
