I applied for a study permit a few months ago and it has recently been approved. The thing is I just realised that I made a tiny mistake when I provided my employment history. In the application I mentioned that from 11/2019 - 04/2021 I held a particular role (let's call it role A) at a particular company, when actually I held role B from 11/2019 - 01/2020 and role A from 02/2020 - 04/2021 both at the same company. It was not a mistake I intended at all and I was wondering if this mistake would come back to bite me in the future if I apply for a PR (where I actually have to provide proof of employment and payslips etc)? Should I contact them via webform to inform them that I made a slight error? Or perhaps they will not look at the employment history I gave in my study permit application when they process my PR application in the future? Or perhaps this is a small enough error that they will be willing to overlook even if they notice it in the future?
