Hello!
I have received this email:

I am writing to you with important information about a recent privacy breach involving your personal information. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada became aware of this breach on January 27, 2023. The breach occurred on or about January 27, 2023 and occurred as follows:

On January 27, 2023, an agent who was landing clients, mistakenly uploaded your Confirmation of Permanent residence Document (COPR) to the wrong clients account as a result of human error. The source of the breach was the Permanent Residence Portal and the client who received the incorrect document contacted IRCC right away to report the breach.
 Your UCI number, application number and a description of your personal features were included on the document (Date of birth, height, hair and eye colour, entry and exit dates into Canada).
 Your place of birth, your passport details (Country of Passport, document number and expiry date) and e-medical information (IME Number and validity date) were also disclosed.

Does anyone know what this could cause? I can open a claim but I don't know what can happen.

Since the damage has been done, you can't `unring' that bell. It's good that the client notified IRCC about the mistake, but...they had no choice, right? Doesn't give much in the way of feeling at ease, though.

Short of taking (possible) legal action, you may not have any course of action.
