You really think I should reapply? I could make a strong purpose letter because last one was not detailed at all and as I see it this forum purpose of visit sold be detailed ....but for purpose of visit do I put family visit as we are going to spend time with my family in law and ither family members. It's a family vacation. Should I detail the places we will go the family members we will visit? This is not tourism right?

If it was me I would reapply. But I am stubborn! The definition of tourism is broad. I would include all of the details from your trip and why you are coming. Most importantly build the case as to why you and your family have to return to your home country.

Thank you sous02, Regina for the advice. It is very well appreciated. I will now concentrate on writing my purpose letter and making it strong enough for them to see that I have no intentions at all to overstay as it is only a family vacation.
