Academic Requirement For SPP Visa??

Hello

I have got acceptance from Georgian college for PG in Computer network and security systems - Sep12 intake. I have completed my bachelors in electronics and telecom in April 2010 with 62% in final year from Mumbai University.

Now the thing is, I was having a backlog of Semester 7 during my Semester 8 - final exams. And as per Mumbai univ. if you have a backlog of sem7 they will issue a pass class certificate. But as per the official transcripts, for students with 60% and above it's clearly mentioned first class with honors.

Also Georgian previously rejected my application because of the "pass class" certificate, because they thought I have a Third division. However I explained to them that I have scored 62% in finals and the Pass class certificate is just because of a Semester 7 backlog and then in a week they approved my application.

Now my question is,

1. Will the "Pass Class" certificate from the Mumbai university will lower down my chances of getting visa under SPP category???

2. How can I explain the embassy that I have scored 62% in finals and the pass class printed on the certi is just because of a backlog in final semester???

3. Will there be any issue if the course selected is different with my previous course studies???

4. Is it necessary to add Statement of purpose with the visa application??

1. Yes. The better academic record you have...the better it will be to determine your status as a genuine student.

2. Even though, they don't require an SOP or any extra documents with SPP application, and 've clearly stated: ***DO NOT PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS UNLESS REQUESTED TO DO SO BY A VISA OFFICER, OR YOUR FILE WILL NOT BE GIVEN PRIORITY PROCESSING UNDER SPP .yet you can attach a small 1 page letter stating and explaining your marking system of your university..proving that you actually scored 62%. You never know..that might be useful. It's upto you.

3. Yes. If you are B.tech. in electronics and telecom, you should choose a PG level course in that or related field.

4. NO.
