Hi
one of my friend came to Canada as a visitor. He got his AZ driving license but he has no previous experience in the trucking industry. Now he is looking for a truck driving job with LMIA approval. My doubt is if he able to get a LMIA approved truck driver job from an employer will he get work permit from the government? Do they reject work permit because of his inexperience?
Could anyone pls give an answer?

Well first he needs to get the approved LMIA. Then with LMIA, he shows his license and work experience to show that no one else could be hired. So yes having no on-the-job driving experience may be an issue in getting a work permit.

Yes, sometimes work permits are refused if the individual applying has no prior experience in that occupation. No one here can tell you for certain what will happen.
