Hi

I am currently studying part time to complete leftover courses for my program before I graduate. I was a full time student but I had backlogs. I just want to confirm that I can still work. I have not been having any problems in getting work on my sin number.
On the Canada immigration website it does it that someone that was once a full time student but became a part time student is still eligible to work off campus. The next time the courses are offered in winter 2022, so can I work off campus until my studies begin?
Just want to be safe.
Please provide information if you are familiar with his situation.

So you are on a break from May 2021 to Jan 2022?

Yes, that's a break. The courses are not offered before that date.

Ouch that's gonna be hard for you, 8 months of break? 240 days?

You're only allowed to be on a break of 150 days.

Read below:

D. Leave from studies
Students may be required or may wish to take leave from their studies while in Canada. For the purpose of assessing if a student is actively pursuing their studies, any leave taken from a program of studies in Canada should not exceed 150 days from the date the leave commenced and must be authorized by their DLI.

A student on leave who begins or resumes their studies within 150 days from the date the leave commenced (that is, the date the leave was granted by the institution) is considered to be actively pursuing studies during their leave. If a student does not resume their studies within 150 days, they should do either of the following:

If they do not change their status or leave Canada, they are considered non-compliant with their study permit conditions.
