Hi Immi52 I'm a realtor and have been dealing in Milton for approximate 10 years.
Milton is a good place to live and it has all you need.
The main problem it has is accessibility you can only get there by 401 I'm talking about highways so it all depends on your needs and wants.
The return on investment is good.
If you are new to the country and don't mind the commute I say is good.
If you are use to have everything at walking distance and are city person you will hated.
