about parent super visa

Hi,
I want to apply for a multiple entry super visa, but my son is studying at U of T so he is not working, as a result, he doesn't have an income except what is provided by me. my son reached the lower income cut off but it's provided by me, but i have enough money to support my visit for almost 5 years at my bank which is outside Canada.
My question is, can i apply for the super visa with no income from my son but my savings outside Canada.

No - you can't.

In order to qualify for the super visa, your son must be making enough income to meet LICO. Savings outside of Canada will not be considered.

You can apply for regular Temporary Resident Visa as you are not eligible for Super Visa. I know students on Study Permits here and their parents have been given TRVs.
