about handover the passport ?

Do I have to handover the passport to the embassy while sending a request Visa student papers ?

because i need it i cant give it to the embassy for 6 weeks until they Pending approval or rejection

any ideas ????

I disagree with himal, vfs dont collect passport so far you tell them u will need to do let them know you want your passport and you will just sign a declaration form.

I have submitted my passport along with visa application at VFS. This is requirement of Delhi visa office.

If you apply online and request passport then only u can send passport along with passport request letter.
