Hi everyone,
I arrived in Canada in the middle of June 2018 with a study permit valid to September 2019. I have started my full-time English course since September 2019, which means I had had 2.5 months gap time. And I had planned to take a parental leave in January and February 2019 as I might deliver at the end of October. After that, I would go back to school for another full-time English course (from March to August 2019) and the main course (since September 2019), which means that I would have another 2 months gap time.
However, after delivering (at 27th of October), I have found that it would be very difficult for me to go back to school soon as my newborn child needs to be taken care of. I am afraid that this will affect my full-time student status. However, there is not anyone else to help me take care of her, while my husband (with an open work permit) is working full-time in Canada. In case I have to take her to go to school with me this winter, I think it is not good for her. My husband and I always want to put the child's interest as a priority. Therefore, I wonder if this can affect my status as a full-time student in Canada, and it may also cause any problem when I extend my study permit next year.
I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice before 30th of November 2018 (because my current English course will end at the middle of this December).
Thank you so much!
