About document amendment problems

Hi all,

This is Meredith, I've submitted for my PR application on April 26th under CEC class, however I found that on my employment record, my manager made a mistake - as RBC staff we have to use the sample and she forgot to take off the name of employee on the sample.. So I went to her to get an amended employment record and submitted it from Webform today. On CIC website it shows that processing time of documents amendment will be 6 months.. just wondering will this affect my application, or will they see the most updated documents when processing my application?

Hello Meredith, I think the processing time you saw on the IRCC website is the time estimated for processing a CEC application rather than a webform inquiry. Usually a wenform inquiry can be addressed in a few weeks, and the amended document will be attached to your application. They will see it when they starting reviewing it, so no worries! I think you are fine. I uploaded an amended document after I submitted my application too.
