I am new to this forum, so this is my first posting!
But I hope someone here can help me!
My OH is here in Canada through the PNP. We are both originally from the UK.
My OH and I (no kids or ex's) sent our PNP PR application including Gov't of Alberta Nomination Certificate, photo's, UK police checks, Canadian fingerprint sheets and bankers draft, etc to Buffalo, N.Y.
The application was reiceved on 27th May '08, (Tracked the PR through the Post Office tracking system).
The Bankers draft has been cashed by the Canadian Consulate General within days of recieving the application. (Checked at the bank).
But we have recieved no AOR or Medical request! I need the medical requests as I have been offered a job within the health field, so i am desperately waiting for the med requests or something!
Is this normal to wait more than 4 weeks, for AOR, AIP, Medical requests or any acknowlegment from them?????
Im only asking because friend of ours using the same process (PR app included Kids) and processing office, had her medical request back within two weeks!
Getting a bit worried and frustrated now, with all the red tape for work permits, PR app and waiting etc.
