Imagine my surprise this morning to open my e-mail and see my husband's message..

Hi Honey...look what I found! Our messages (MSN) from July 2008!

Me: What! What! What! I thought you said you submitted those with our application.

Hubby: UM...no. I just found it browsing through my computer. I was reading our messages and laughing away.

Me: *speechless* So you mean to say...*choking up* that this was not submitted...

Hubby: Um...no. I just found it!

Me: ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...*Can't believe he had it all the time*

Its a good thing thousands of miles separate us..cause i would of wacked him on his head. >:( >:(

The moral of this story! : Never leave it up to your spouse to handle everything...You gotta double check!

OMG you just gave me such a laugh.

i just cant believe he had it all the freeking time. we were scrapping the barrel for evidence..scraping...people here would of read over and over posts from me about my fear of lack of evidence and the fact that i went and sent additional information to ease my fear..and he had it all the time! This again stems to another issue we had in doing up the evidence...my husband is a very private person...paranoid actually and he and i had several arguments about this type of evidences...he did not want to put it in...the problem is..i never saw what he sent...he jsut said...he sent in 15 pages of emails...(but when i did my additional information - for four months- it was 15 pages as well) So its then, i began to question what he sent...cuase he is suppposed to have e-mails for 2 years...which should be like 90 pages !) AND he was listening to his friend..over and over he told me..oh his friends from the UK only sent in 4-5 pics and they got through. To which i responded...i am from trinidad! the Canada doesnt want us! Anyways he has been assuring me he sent in all the info....

God i have a bad bad feeling. I feel sick in my gut. But it makes no sense to argue now..its all done and over and sent. God help us!

RELAX! Don't do it~

Good thing is if you have to go for an interview you have lots more proof :) Fingers crossed you don't need it!

well he pointed out a good reason to not wack him...

Hubby:' why have YOU NOT save the msn conversations?'
Me: Speechless....so i guess i could partly be blamed for not saving anything. After all...its two hands clapping and not one... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Hahaha. Sorry, not laughing at your predicament. It could be worse, it could all be really gone, and you don't have it anywhere to show, whereas if they ask for it now, you can take it in with you.

My computer died last year October around the same time hubby and I got serious. So I began taking home the laptop assigned to me at work, and because I don't want my business on there (they request them from time to time for maintenance) I never archived our chats and so on on there. Now here we are, married and all, and I have very little to show for the development of our relationship until just before he came to Jamaica to live with me. We are both going to have to do a lot of writing, plus we are asking friends who knew how we started out to write letters on our behalf.

So all this time, I am saying to him...well I didn't save them because I am using a computer loaned to me by work, you are using your own computer, why didn't you save them?! :P

@Honeybird

Heh... definitely made me laugh. I think my partner wishes we were oceans apart at the moment because I'm definitely close enough to whack him.

Waited 6 weeks for SA Police Check before I finally ask him to contact them and see what the story is. I ask (nag) for two weeks while he tells me we just have to wait patiently and when he finally gets tired of being nagged and emails them it turns out his sister in SA forgot to make the payment so it's been sitting there all this time. So, payment is made and confirmation is sent and we receive an email back saying thank you, the payment has been received and they'll send the document now. Two more weeks go by and the police check hasn't arrived. Again he says, what can we do but wait?? Finally I convince him to call and ask again and they say 'but we're waiting for the payment'. Sigh. I didn't have to whack him... he practically ran out of the room from the look I gave him!

what's another month delay right???

*WHACK!!!*
