Hello, I have been accepted into a university in Manitoba, I got my acceptance latter and today I have applied for my study permit and I do not need a visa to enter Canada from my country.
My concern is that I have applied for a refugee status in Canada alongside my mother about 8 years ago, I was 16 at the time of the application and had no other choice.
I lived half a year in Canada and have left because I wanted to get back home to live with my father, everything was done officially and I haven't stayed in Canada without permission or anything like this.
My question is will the fact of me applying for a refugee status as a minor will have an impact on my ability to get a a study permit right now?
