A question regarding change of family composition

I'm sponsoring my parents to Canada. They have been issued CoPR one month after my son is born. I have informed CIC webform of the birth of my son but has received no reply since. Does my son count for my parents "change of family composition"? Should my parents go ahead to landing?

Your son is not their dependent, so really this should have no impact and they should just proceed with the PR landing.

Only possible impact would be change to your family size and income requirement in 2017, but since the max year they can assess right now is only 2016 this should be irrelevant.

Thank you! Is it why they didn't reply me? I plan to bring my parents to land tomorrow. Later should I still call them to ask why there is no response from IRCC web form?
