Hi

My work permit is LMO exempt . so my question is :

if a work permit need LMO or LMIA .

is there any clue or different on the issued paper of work permit ?

I mean, by check the work permit, is there any word which is about like "LMO approved "

thanks

Whether an LMO/LMIA was required during its approval is not stated explicitly on the WP. However, it is implied by the type of WP. For example, a BOWP, a spousal OWP, or an ICT WP would not have required an LMO/LMIA.

That said, why should this be any concern? When applying for a WP, you may or may not need an LMIA, but for WPs already granted it is immaterial whether you have needed an LMO/LMIA after the WP has been issued.

so after a work permit issued, the VO can't check what kind of LMO issued ?

Work permits that are issued on the basis of positive LMO/LMIA have a comment towards the bottom of the permit to the effect of:

"HRSDC confirmation No. xxxxx " - that would be the LMO/LMIA approval number that was issued by Service Canada.

thanks, very much , that would be I am looking for .

so if work permit have no such information, then they don't know or can't decide which NOC you are fixed just by the title in work permit .

because too many jobs with different titles.

Hi

Not sure what the question is here? What do you mean by "LMO" exempt? BOWP is different and is based on bridging the time between WP expiring and Par being granted.

All TFWP's are issued on the back of receiving an approved LMO or LMIA. If your on a spousal permit then the document number is tied back to the original permit. So I am not sure what you mean by "the type of LMO issued"?

I had copies of the application submitted for my LMO, so I had the NOC used, I assume you do not have this?

Thx

yes, I never have NOC issued by CIC or any canada government.

mine is international company transfer ( resign from original country, get job in CA again ) . it doesn't need LMO

thanks

yes, that's the problem part : I use same job duties and job titles in my PR application same with my paper work when apply work permit.

but , my work permit title is different with the one I applied and different with the one my paper work ,

none of them is same .

if VO just use the title on work permit to reject me , it is not fair for me, because the title on work permit is they give me .

but my paper work never be changed.

I use my paper work infor to query HSRDC, they give an NOC of which the job title list doesn't include any my current job title .

not sure if you will understand.

now I just hope that because I have no LMO. it means my NOC never be fixed. and job title can't decide the NOC . so my NOC would be always not fixed until I query HSRDC.

or else, I don't know what's to do , use any title looks an error I follow with them.

so I just stick with my original paper work . and my reference letter can only give the duties same with my paper work.

Job titles are generic, responsibilities of the role as outlined in your support letter are the important factors. If the responsibilities match the NOC them what you are actually called is less important.

You seem to be worried about something that has not happened?
