Hi all!

I am sorry if this has been answered already. I applied in January, 2012 and got PER in February and visa office is London. My E-CAS reads in process when I click on it says, "we received your application for permanent residency on January 23, 2012" nothing else. What does it mean? Is my file in the queue waiting to be processed? and the million dollar question, when can I expect medical? approximately ??
Many thanks in advance ;D !

Bro,,

This status is normal for every MI 3 applicant. London VO is very very slow. They are busy finalizing MI 1 & MI 2 applicantions as seen in other threads.

Hopefully they will start working on our applications after June 2012, so it could take 4-5 months for medical provided that verification process is smooth.

Dont worry we all are in the same boat...my status is same but different date i.e. March 5 2012.

Hope this would be of some help...

Regards

Its all for the applicants who applied after July 2011 applicants,
Mine status is also same,
If it changes with additional line we start processing then mate get ready to hear the request for medical,
Warm Regards,

HI CAnadiantobe!
Hope you won't mind answering my query..
What is MI 1 and MI 2?
Thanks!

MI-1 stands for first Ministerial Instructions, for the applicants who applied between February 2008 and June 2010.

MI-2 is for Second set of Ministerial Instructions, for applicants who applied after June 26, 2010 and upto June 2011.

MI-3 is currently running and will end in coming June/July 2012. When it does, MI-4 will start.

Cheers
