please can i get a recommendation?

i also have a problem with the health insurance in quebec because they require a proof of residence within 45 days and i just landed and we have a vacation house in ontario for now so i save money until i rent an apartment in quebec... so i cant give them the proof they want within that time limit. what happens after?

thank you all!

Once you can prove to Quebec that you are residing there, they will sign you up for a health card but you can not get it until 3 months after you had moved to Quebec.

Your health card will not cover dental. You can talk to some insurance broker about finding private insurance that covers dental. Otherwise, most jobs offer such insurance so if you find a job soon, you may not need to get insurance for yourself.

You can get yourself a private insurance while you await your provincial coverage. Most plans cover accidental dental and they also offer some coverage for emergency dental Each company has their own maximum amounts for that, so make sure you double check.
