Hi everyone,

I posted before, but still I feel like something isn't right. Shouldn't they have at least began to process my husbands application? We were lucky enough to get SA and a medical request within the first 20 days. However, after the medical results were updated and posted to ecas we haven't heard of anything since.

on ecas the PA went to Application Received (in Canada) then In Process (application being sent to VO) then back into Application Received (Received by the VO) ..my question is how long does it ACTUALLY take before I get the 3rd line on my ecas.

Thanks in advance!

We never got it. Went from sponsor approval to more information required to PPR. It seems sometimes the system doesn’t get updated by the people responsible for doing so. I wouldn’t sweat it. No news is good news sometimes.

You should be more patient. Did you get the Shedule A request already? If you share your timeline, that would help. However, it can take several weeks, in some cases a few months, between file transfer and AOR2.

Yes, as it is asked after linking your applicstion

Application received: September 11
Started processing: September 15
SA: September 15
Sent to VO: September 16
Medical request: September 21

It’s just weird because everything happened so quickly and now I am not hearing back from them at all.

Thanks! That last line put me at ease! :)

We’ve been waiting since May for it to show processing bgc. It’s a long process. I know how you feel, it’s frustrating.

What is your VO? Some take a lot of time to start the background. Your timeline looks perfectly normal, and I think a few months until background check starts would still be normal. I don't think you'll see it going to in process until mid November, at the very least.

Call the call center and ask if you've had a schedule A request. Give them your app number and UCI so the call is logged in your notes. The same thing happened to my partner and I. App received May 1, SA May 25, Medical May 30, then radio silence.
Turns out a "technical error" was actually the schedule A request that we missed. Here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...hreads/messages-not-uploaded-to-gckey.526028/

It's normal. We haven't started our bgc since may. My husband emailed and they said processing time is 12 months. They are taking their sweet time and it's frustrating. Im. In the same boat hang in there

Everything looks completely normal to me too :-) our fIle was transferred to the VO on June 30th and bcg went to "processing" last week.
