I need to take some suggestions from those who are aware of the Canadian market.
To start with I am an Indian with a total of 5 years 8 Months experience. I did my B. Tech in 2006 followed by working in IT industry for 2.5 years in TCS. After that I did my MBA in marketing from FMS, Delhi University (batch 2009-2011). Post my MBA I have worked for 3years 3 months (till date) in sales & marketing,Business Development, Digital Marketing, market research (mainly) & as a consultant have an experience over few sectors like FMCG,Food & Beverage, IT, Education, General Insurance. Currently I am heading business operations for a retail-education company in eastern region of India.
I wish to migrate to Canada & look for a marketing job. As of now I have seen many people with core technical experience have shifted their base to Canada in IT. Wanted to check how much viable is my candidature for Canadian market? (On the same lines, will my previous 2.5 years IT experience be a valid one?)
Also, my wife is currently working in TCS with 8 years (till date) experience in IT. We were thinking that one of us will try to get a job in Canada & then the other will try to get a job.
Please suggest.
