Hello,
I need some more advice and feel a bit lost.
I lived in Ireland for 3 yrs with my boyfriend, and we got married in Feb/2010 there. We came to Canada (I'm Canadian) in sept in the hopes of sorting out a PM visa. We started gathering everything and were working on the inland application. Now I think we should apply for outland, as it sounds quicker. Are we able to do this? The question about him being here lawfully for atleast 1 yr....I am assuming he hasn't, so it is ok to apply outland??
We have an appointment with a lawyer, but I think we are capable of this on our own. Does anyone have any info on what it is like to work with a lawyer to get it done?
He is here with IEC and it expires in Sept. We want to apply for the second year, so he doesn't have to go back to Ireland (though we realise this is a long process and he might have to). Do we fill out the forms for that as if he is back in Ireland? Like address, etc?
I feel like I need someone to say it will be ok. Haha....Thanks for any responses!!
