A Few Questions

Hi, i have a few questions concerning sponsoring my spouse who currently lives in Poland. I tried to contact Cic butall what i got was a continuous chain of recorded messages regardless of what number prompts i made.

1) Does her birth certificate have to be long or short versions.
2)How does the translating work, are there specific people that have to translate it. Do they need a certain certificate or something. Can someone provide more information, i don`t want our application to get turned down for something like this.
3)I`m currently a recent graduate. I`m actively seeking work in my field of engineering, but do not have a job. How likely will my application get refused because of this. I`ve also havent worked in the past yea rand half because i was busy all year taking enough courses to graduate on time. I`m currently staying at my parents home for free until i get employment.

It varies country to country. It comes from the local Govt. Or municipal authority. My certificate is in short format.
2)How does the translating work, are there specific people that have to translate it. Do they need a certain certificate or something. Can someone provide more information, i don`t want our application to get turned down for something like this. ANY DOCUMENTS NOT IN ENGLISH NEEDS TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH AND NOTARIZED.

If you look at the region specific checklist, it states that Polish applicants must submit the 2 page birth certificate, but check the region specific list to make sure.

Documents need to be translated and notarized by a certified translator.

You can be a sponsor, as long as you aren't on welfare. Just include a plan that shows how you will support yourselves, including a plan for housing. If your parents will let you stay there rent-free, then get a letter from them stating that. If your spouse is employable, indicate that as well. Just show that you will not require social assistance.
