Hi all,
I am about to apply for PR and would like people's advice on a few issues.
1. I worked in a call centre and a video games store for about 3 months each when I was younger, do I need to include these on page 2 of the Schedule 3 document?
2. If I already have the points is it worth the hassle of taking a French test? Is there any advantage in having more points?
Do I need to include all the work experience documents in my original application to Sydney? I have come across conflicting reports about this.
4. Do I need to submit my birth certificate to Sydney?
5. Finally, I have got an Arranged Employment Opinion approved but my employer applied under 2 different codes but on the acceptance form it only mentions on of them. I have included the following cover letter to explain my situation. I would appreciate anyones feedback on this. Thanks, Derek
Please find attached the necessary documents as requested on the CIO Document Checklist. Please note that I have also included the letter request from my future employer for the Arranged Employment Opinion application. The reason I have included this is because it clearly states that my duties will be both IT/Business Process and administrative in nature. Therefore, my employer put my application forward under a combination of the NOC code 2171 (Information Systems Analyst) and NOC code 1221 (Administrative Officer).
My application for Arranged Employment has been approved (please find included a copy of the appropriate government letter) however, in the approval letter there is only mention of the code 1221. I wanted to bring this to your attention as my year of continuous year experience needed for this Federal Skilled Worker’s application falls under the category of NOC code 2171 and not under the NOC code of 1221. It is for this reason that I have made this application under the NOC code 2171.
I hope this clarifies the situation and would be happy to answer any under questions that might arise around the issue.
