a confirmation from CPC-Mississauga

Dear all,

I have a question regarding the AOR from CPC-Mississauga. I applied for the sponsorship via outland and the documents were sent in in the beginning of January to CPC-Mississauga.
I looked on the CIC website and it says that they are currently processing sponsorship applications received on November 7, 2012. Does that mean that I have to wait 2 months to get my AOR or do they send ANY kind of confirmation sooner than that? The documents were sent via courier and I tracked it so I know they received it .

Please note that ECAS only updates once in a while.. So its not updated
Ive read from a December thread just now that his application was received December 3 in CPC-M and he already got the sponsor approval today. So it oly took 43 days..

Goodluck to you.. They approved sponsor so fast, but the applicant approval takes forever (7 months prolly)

You may or may not get an AOR. Some people do and some people do not. If you DO get one, it usually comes less than a week before your approval letter/e-mail. If you do not get an AOR, you will only get the approval letter/email.

You will not get anything until they are working on your file. If you get an AOR it will be when they start to process your file (hence why the approval letter/email comes so soon after an AOR, for those that get one).

You will not get anything else as a confirmation before that time.

That im not sure of.. But i read from a thread where she was very happy to announce it. She even called the hotline to confirm it.

Here is her message delivered on our language:

Hi everyone! Hindi ako mapakali nung nakita ko sa ECAS na Decision Made na ang status so I called CIC and they said I was approved as a sponsor last Jan 10 and they sent my husband's application to CEM na that same day. God is really good to us. Naunahan pa namin ung ibang November applicant. Sana lahat na po kayo makatanggap na rin ng SA! We'll include y'all in my prayers. Sana din mapabilis sa CEM ang PPR nya. I heard this is the longest waiting part. But it is never the same. Like us Dec 3 nareceive ng CIC ang application namin pero we got approved Jan 10. Sa website nakalagay Nov 7 pa lang sila ngaun. So hnd din po accurate ung mga processing time and hnd pareparehas ng case. Just keep on praying and hoping baka mapabilis din batch natin sa CEM. If u need anything, I'll be happy to help.

They don't necessarily process applications in order. So its the luck of the draw. Hopefully you're on the lucky end! Happy waiting!

There are still some applications from the beginning of November that have yet to be processed. So as MissDominica says it is the luck of the draw.
