Hello. I have been living in Canada since 11/2013 I was approved of a 6 month extension in June, till Dec 31. I put in a 2nd extension application on Dec 8th, well mailed it out. I know I was cutting it very close. I still have not heard back, and its officially 3 months. I try to call the office in Vegreville, but their number is out of service

Problem is, I need to leave and go back home before April first, due to a family situation. I am afraid that maybe my application never got there!! I have a copy of the reciept that I paid for my extension...
Can I still leave without any paper work? What if it never got there, will I be held by immigration at the airport and be detained? I can't get in touch and I don't know what to do. My first extension process went smoothly and I heard back within a month. I put my return address, and nothing has come back.
