Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have seen so much of posts here in the forum where applicants are rejected on the grounds of course mismatch , But the big question is if the university or college is giving the admission to an international student after accessing there academic background then what kind of objection does a visa officer have , it is an illogical concept for rejection , the institute which is going to teach the student is the one who accesses the student capability through a criteria before issuing an offer letter , so it directly means there is a logical progression of studies if a student secured a seat in a college or UNI , and if not then what is the purpouse of having an admission criteria if only a bunch of visa officers have to take the decision whether the course is relevant to previous studies or not ??????????????????????????????????????????

The school makes a decision to admit you based on your marks and past courses taken.

CIC decides if you should be granted a visa based on several criteria - including if you are a real student or are just using the study visa as a way to get to Canada. Course mismatch is a big red flag that someone is using the study visa to get to Canada and isn't really that interested in being a student.

Schools and CIC are responsible for two completely separate decisions. That's why CIC can refused you based on study mismatch. I have to be honest and say that the majority of course mismatches I see here make me think that the person applying just wanted to get to Canada. I think the CIC rejections are very logical.

Hi all friends,
how are you all?........hope all are fine.........posting in the forum after long time.

Firstly there is nothing like studymismatch in reality........have look at your (all applicants) refusal letter and tell me where is written it is study mismatch?...it would be not study mismatch but reason would be like general...below i quote it.

your proPGssd studies are not reasonabie in light of one or more of: your
qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other
educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities, or your
future prospects and plans.

embassy will never relieve exact refusal reason............it would be general reason.

here are some example........
ad singh - forum memebr..........he was charted accountant already completed C.A. and M.com in india and got visa for diploma course in TRU......now my question is why embassy had no objection with his proposed course?

Sandhujas and other 2 guy from this forum had completed MBA and got visa for PG diploma course ( global business mgt.)......
my question is why they didn't got refusal on the basis of studymismatch.

Another one profile.have look

Above member completed master degree and got visa for post secondary diploma program not even post graduate diplom.
now my question is where is study mismatch?

Dominicj
(forum member).......he had already bachelor degree and got visa for post secondary diploma program...where is study mismatch?

Khurana (forum member).completed BCA and got visa for global business mgt. program...what is the relationship between management course and computer related course? isn't is study mismatch.....

Have a look at my profile.
completed BBA
applied for Global business management program (post graduate diploma) and got refusal as it is study mimatch.
now my question is really it is study mismatch......

No my friend it is your profile that will decide visa approval/refusal.

another one..........master degree holder and got visa for diploma in second attempt

luck plays a big part too

yeah lets see , the thing is i always wanted to do s/w engineering with networking and it is related to my previous education thats y i can have a lateral entry in 3rd sem as it is a 6 semester course , but in general not me any one of us who is getting a lateral entry in the course then it definitely means that there is not a course mismatch but due to the scenario that i have heared on this forum still nothing can be concluded for sure so dats y i am worried facing a rejection for not fair reason is always hard to digest and personaly i dont want to happen it with anyone of us

As i said before its your profile that matters.

study mismatch also depends upon your marks in previous education. you will hardly find any application who has 50% or less and get a visa...
they check your educaton history and issue a visa!!! it depends upon three things-:number of visas, Your education and your luck

Because bogus students and universities do exist in Canada
