9 hours of Unauthorised work before PGWP

Hi all. I need advice. I worked for 9 hours 2 days after completeion letter was sent. I did not see the email as it was sent to my personal email rather than school email and it got buried. But i stopped work after I saw it till I applied for PGWP 15 days later. I did not disclose it in my PGWP application. I sought advice and I was told it was a minor infraction it can be overlooked. I am told I can inform IRCC via call or webform. Which is best?

Nobody is likely going to provide this kind of advice. You should consult a lawyer for an answer or determine your own answer. The fact that minor issues are typically overlooked, especially in case when people stopped working when they realized their error and are apologetic, is correct.
