Hi all,
For the purpose of time, i am planning to submit the following not so recent documents. Do you foresee them creating any issues?

1- PCC certificate dated 10 months back and addressed to Australia immigration instead Canada. i have used it for Australian immigration.

2- 1 year old employment letter. I will attach to it my last promotion letter as well as evidences that i am currently working with the same company.

There are obviously reasons for why i am trying to use the above rather than getting a new one and i was just wondering if it should be ok.

Also, as per the check list, only copies of employment letters are required, not original. I was surprised to see that.

Thank you for your help.

1. you can't use a PCC which is more than 10 months old and addressed to Australia.

2. you can send in the employment letter, with supporting docs, its better if you could send the ROLES letter in Original.

Good Luck !

Thanks for your response. Appreciated - but are you sure that someone tried that before? They won't question why wouldnt i provide a more recent letter from an employer i am still with?

Few applicant's expired PCC's were accepted, but you can't take it for granted. moreover, your PCC is 8+ months old issued for Australia.

You can submit them any letter provided by the employer, for recent employment proofs you can submit the Pay stubs or any bonus, appreciation, reference letters issued to you.

good luck !

Thanks Mr. Hope.

If i don't include the police certificate at this stage, would it cause any major delays to my application? I am thinking to include the one i have now and if they don't accept it, i can provide them with a new one with any additional documents they request in the future.

Do you think this approach will impact my application processing timeline?

PCC is not at all required at this moment, you'll need when they want you to get it. Its when they issue MR

Thank you! Although birth certificates are valid for 1 year, they should be generated within 3 months from the application submission date. i just got what you meant - its mentioned on CIC website.

Thanks for your support again and best of luck for you!
