Hi!

I lived in Canada for 4 years (2006-2010) as a work permit. I got my PR on November 2009. Since there I´ve lived as PR for 09 months. I moved back to my country because my mom passed away, and i have to stay close to my father, after this I got married than i got the PR to my husband. We decided move back to Canada. I planned to come back on July 2013, but I´m studying in my country. So right now I just came to Canada to visit and stay for 1 month, in fact I didn´t have any problem about my enter … but I have to come back to my course that will be finish on Nov. 2013, so my plan is come back right the way on Dec 2013 with my husband. My PR will expire on Dec 2014 and my husband on Jan 2017.

My questions are:
- Can the Immigration report about my enter, since my PR card would be expiring within 1 year of my entering the country?
- On Dec. 2014 it will miss 70 days to complete 730 days… How can I renew my PR card?
- About my husband… Is he going have any problem, once I´m the one sponsored him as long as his PR will expire on Jan 2017?

Thank you for your help.

Simply put, here are the answers.

Yes, they CAN report you but they probably won't. It's always a risk.
You have to wait until you can meet the residency obligation requirements by staying in Canada for long enough first.
His PR is independent of yours if you sponsored him as a member of the family class.

Tks!

So, my question is ...
My PR will expiry on dec. 2014 in this time I will miss 70 days to meet residency obligations.

How long should I wait to renew my PR ?

thanks !

You have to wait until you have, on the day that you send of your application, at least 730 days in Canada out of the 1825 days immediately preceeding that date. You will have to do the maths as we don't have the exact details from you about your travel.
