7-year-old child, has been 4 months since med passed, still no update

I am sponsoring my 7-year-old son inland.The application was submitted 8 months ago. It has been almost 4 months since the medical exam passed. I received the pre-arrival letter 2 months ago. But ever since then, no update or anyting. The status is still in process. The VO is Hong Kong.

I want to know if it's normal? Is there anyone has a similar case that can share the timeline with me? Thanks a lot!
