What do you think? The minimum needed is 67..

The only way is to get the additional 5 points of your spouse, or try to get higher on IELTS.
What are your bands for each test item?

rajratra000, what is your score for each IELTS section? Knowing your weak and strong sides will hepl to work on a right strategy. Since improving your IELTS score seems to be the only way to get extra points.

PS: Actually it is absolutely feasible. I personnaly know many people who imporoved their results after intense preparation. All you need to do is to set a timeframe and work hard withing it.

Wait a sec. 19 point for IELTS means that you scored less than 6 at least in one of sections. Which means you are not elegible for FSWP as you must have minimum 6 for each section. Thus - impoving IELTS score is the only way for you.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

No - 19 points does not mean someone has scored less than 6 in one IELTS category.

Arika, this is wrong. 19 points is a good score.

Raj has scored 5,4,6,4 points probably in the 4 skills.

The minimum to qualify is CLB 7 grade which means 4 points in each of the skills making minimum IELTS total points as 16.

sorry for the blunt reply, but 65 points will be a straight reject. they wont even consider.

Ask your spouse the apply for IELTS so that you get 5 additional points for adaptability. (in case your spouse scores CLB4 grade, i.e. L:4.5 points, R:3.5 points; W:4 points, S:4 points). Pls note, this is not difficult at all. And you will get 5 additional points to take your score to 70 points.

All the best..

rajratra000 your challenge may be in the area of age. you are 42. I am sure your adaptability score is your wife's ielts which has already fetched you 5 points. if you have a relative in Canada and you can prove it, it can fetch you an additional 5 points and that will push you to 70. You can look at other available PR programmes for Canada but it might involve investing huge cash in their economy...like the Investors and entrepreneurship programmes. you can do a search or do a free eligibility test on FWcanadavisa website and they will know which of the other programmes you may be eligible for. If you have been to Canada before you can use a your countryman who is already a Permanent Resident to check if you can be on the Provincial Nominee Programme which may be lesser than even 65 score. exploreeee don't give up! Your ielts and WES is good. Best of Luck.
