Dear Guys,

I need some information. I am not sure if I am posting my question to the wrong section.

I am working as an IT consultant having an experience of 6 years in SAP ERP. I worked and lived in United States for 5 years and came back to India for some personal work but my visa stamping got denied due to some reasons.

I contacted some Visa consultants in New Delhi because I am now interested in applying Permanent Residency (PR) for Canada. I was told that IT doesn't come under the list of occupation.

They suggested me that I first apply for "AEO" with them and since right now IT is not a part of this list, they are hoping that Revised list which is due in JUNE may include IT.

They are asking me to do the paper work for PR simultaneouly while applying AEO. This is the shorted route or AEO guys to easily get PR or what not if IT doesnt come under the list of occupation. I am little confused here

Since they are asking me a handsome amount for all this. I want to make sure that I am not falling in wrong hands.

Please advice.

Right now for IT no NOC list any more, for 2011 list you can guess it, but it's depend on Canadian economy, un-employment rate in specific sector's, jobs availability and employer's can not get easily good employees in Canada, means shortage of specific occupancies and also depend on entire labour market.

Yeah there is a talk on a town about NOC 0213 to be included in their list on June 11..but its not sure, though its been real demanding profession worldwide so on that basis the thing might gets true.

Good luck!

Thanks guys for the response . My next query is that what they are saying that if in case IT doesn't come under the list of occupation in June and If I apply AEO now and get approved then doesn't matter if IT is there in the list or not, I can still file for PR based on my AEO.

Is that a true statement??
