I know the law said this
"
To be eligible for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class you must have completed, within the three years before you apply, at least:

  • 12 months of full-time work:
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR
  • equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
    • 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
"

I already have more than 1560 hours. But do I have to work 6 more months of full time or 3 more months of full time if we cut the part time months I did to half?

1 - You do not have more than 1560 hrs, one week of full-time work is 30 hrs per week, you cannot count more than that.
2 - You'll meet the requirement in less than 3 months, i'm too lazy to do the calculation for you though.

ah .... you are right.

So that means instead of 40 hours per week, I have 30 hours per week for full time. That means I have 30 * 26 = 720 hours.

From my part time I have 20 * 26 = 520

total so far I have 1240 hours

So I need 320 hours.

Therefore I need 11 weeks of full time to fullfill the requirement.

Thank you for being patient with me.[/QUOTE]
