I'm working on the forms and I want to ensure that I am not answering wrong. Though I have a 40 page document that supports every time frame of our relationship month by month... lol.

ANyhow.

We were married in 97 at a courthouse in my hometown, my husband came down - just him.
The following day my family had a party for us.
The following month, back in Canada his family had a party for us.

My questions are to do with this;

# 15 - Was there a Formal Ceremony to recognize the marriage?
I said yes, and indicated at the courthouse and who attended.

#18 Was there a reception?
I answered yes and indicated the parties our familes held for us (day after and then month later)

Yes ?

# 24. has your sponsor visited you durning your relationship?
I ticked "NO" and indicated we've lived together everyday since marriage.

#25 same thing, just about me visiting him

#29 are you living with someone other than your sponsor?
Do I list our kids? I thought we needed to, hubby wasn't sure.

You're on the right track - and yes, list the kids as people you are living with. I'm curious - if you've been married since '97, and it seems you've been in Canada the whole time, why are you just getting around to doing this now?

Sorry, I'm the American, and he's the Canadian. We've been living in the US since December of 97 - he has green card status here... .we are moving to Canada now. A little flip-flop :)

I answered the same way... that there was no visit because we have never been apart.

I put no, for living with others than sponsor even though we have a kid.

#24 and 25: if you have been living together, put 'no' to the visit questions, and explain, with proof.
#29: I'd say 'yes' if you are also living with your children. You have to put their names and the relationship to you, so the visa officer will see they are your children.
Your answers about the wedding ceremony and reception were fine too. Just add proof.
