Quick question. We're filling out our application for my partner's ITA and found this 5409 Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union form.
Q1: It mentions reading the instruction guide before filling it in - I can't find this anywhere! Does anyone know where it is?
Q2: In the top boxes 'Country and Province' - we live in the UK, so is the answer where're trying to head to: Canada, BC?
Q3: Person who witnesses declaration: A Notary Public, Commissioner of Oaths Commissioner of Taking Affidavits - in the UK, is this a solicitor as never heard of a Commissioner of Oaths??!
